Vehicle Servicing

Servicing keeps a vehicle reliable, safe and worth more when it is sold. We carry out interim, full and manufacturer-schedule servicing on all makes and models, using parts and fluids that meet the manufacturer's specification so warranty cover is preserved where applicable.

MOT Testing

MOT testing is completed on-site at our Loverock Road workshop, so your vehicle does not need to travel elsewhere. If anything fails or is advised, we explain what it means, what is urgent and what can wait, and you decide what happens next.

Diagnostics

A warning light is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Our technicians combine fault-code reading with live data, wiring checks and road testing to find the actual cause, then explain the repair options before anything is replaced.

General Repairs

From routine wear items to larger mechanical work, our technicians repair all makes and models. Every job is quoted before it starts, and we will always tell you when a repair is not worth doing.

Brake Repairs

Braking performance is the part of a vehicle you never want to compromise. We inspect pads, discs, calipers, hoses and fluid condition, then advise on what genuinely needs replacing and what still has safe life left.

Suspension and Steering

Knocks, uneven tyre wear and vague steering usually come from worn suspension or steering components. We identify the worn part rather than replacing everything, and check geometry afterwards where the repair affects it.

Clutch Replacement

Slipping, judder or a heavy pedal usually points to a worn clutch or dual-mass flywheel. We assess the whole assembly, including the flywheel and release mechanism, so the job is done once rather than revisited.

Timing Belts and Chains

A timing belt or chain failure is one of the most expensive things that can happen to an engine. We replace belts, chains, tensioners and water pumps to manufacturer intervals and specifications, using the correct locking tools for the engine.

Gearbox Servicing

Automatic gearboxes need fluid and filter servicing far more often than most owners are told. We complete gearbox servicing in-house, including DSG, ZF, Mercedes 7G and 9G, CVT, conventional automatic and manual gearboxes, using the correct fluid specification and fill procedure.

DPF Cleaning

A blocked diesel particulate filter is usually a symptom of something else. We offer off-car machine cleaning for heavily loaded filters as well as on-car cleaning and forced regeneration, and we investigate the cause so the filter does not simply block again.

Air Conditioning

Air-conditioning systems lose refrigerant gradually and work hardest when you finally need them. We service R134a and R1234yf systems, test for leaks properly rather than simply topping up, and repair the components that are actually at fault.

Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

Electric and hybrid vehicles still need servicing, brakes, tyres, cooling systems and diagnostics — they simply need technicians qualified to work safely around high-voltage systems. Our workshop is equipped and qualified for that work.

Tyres

We supply and fit tyres across budget, mid-range and premium brands, and will tell you honestly which is the sensible choice for how you actually use the vehicle. Fitting includes balancing and a pressure and condition check across all four corners.

Wheel Alignment

Incorrect geometry wears tyres quickly and makes a car feel unsettled. We measure camber, castor and toe against the manufacturer's data and adjust what the vehicle allows, then road test to confirm the steering sits straight.

Performance

Performance work is a supporting part of what we do, carried out with the same care as our servicing and repair work. ECU remapping is completed in-house, and dyno tuning is arranged through suitable external facilities — we do not operate a dyno on site.

Alloy Wheel Refurbishment

A full refurbishment strips the wheel back, repairs kerb damage and corrosion, then rebuilds the finish with primer, colour and lacquer. Everything is completed in-house at Loverock Road, and every refurbished wheel carries a twelve-month warranty.

Diamond Cut Alloys

Diamond-cut wheels are machined on a lathe to expose bare alloy under a clear lacquer. We run our own lathe in-house, so we control the finish and the turnaround, and we always assess how much material a wheel has left before cutting it again.

Powder Coating

Powder coating gives a hard-wearing, evenly applied finish that stands up well to British roads and wheel cleaners. We offer gloss, satin and matt finishes, with protective topcoats where the colour benefits from them.

Cracked Alloy Repair

Cracked wheels are assessed before anything else happens. Where the crack is in a location that can be repaired safely, we weld and refinish the wheel. Where it is not safe to repair, we will say so — a wheel is a structural component and we will not gamble with it.
