Parts procurement
Outsourced parts sourcing for the motor trade
Parts procurement is the work between deciding a vehicle needs a part and that part arriving: identifying it, finding who has it, comparing options and confirming terms. We take that work on so your team doesn't have to.
What the service covers
The searching, checking and chasing
You keep the decisions. We do the legwork that surrounds them.
Every request is handled by a person who reads it. We look at the vehicle information, work out what's actually needed and go looking. Where a request is unclear, awkward or unusual, we come back to you rather than guessing — and where something looks unlikely to be available, we say so.
We can't claim that every part can always be supplied. What we can do is make sure the search is done properly and that you hear back either way.

Types of request
What customers send us
These are common examples rather than a fixed catalogue. If you're not sure whether something is worth asking about, ask.
Mechanical
Engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking and drivetrain components for routine repair work.
Service
Filters, fluids, belts, plugs and the everyday consumables that hold a job up when they're missing.
Electrical
Sensors, control modules, lighting, starting and charging components, including trickier specification checks.
Accident repair
Panels, bumpers, lamps, radiators and structural items sourced against estimates and photographs.
The workflow
How a request is handled
1. You send the requirement
Through the parts request form, with registration or VIN, a description of what you need and any documents or photographs.
2. We review and clarify
We check the details and come back with questions where the specification isn't clear. Getting this right up front is what stops the wrong part arriving.
3. We source options
We approach suitable sources and gather what's available, including genuine/OE and aftermarket where that fits your preference.
4. You receive the options
Pricing and expected lead times, as given to us at the time of quoting, with alternatives where there is more than one sensible route.
5. Suitability and terms confirmed
Before an order is placed, we confirm the part, the price and the terms with you. Nothing goes ahead without your approval.
6. Supply arranged
We arrange the next steps and keep you updated on progress, including if something changes at the supplier's end.
